Environmental and Social Advisory Services (ESAS) provides a range of consulting services. We assist international project teams in managing their environmental and social aspects in a way that avoids or minimises negative risks and maximises positive, inclusive socio-economic outcomes.
ESAS is a London-based, flexible consultancy that uses the services of highly experienced professionals. We typically provide the ‘social’ input into environmental and social impact assessments, support resettlement projects through the preparation of policy documents and plans, conduct due diligence assignments, and deliver professional training courses. All our projects are delivered in accordance with the applicable requirements of national legislation, company policies and financial lending institutions.
We work closely with in-country partners to understand the socio-economic and environmental context within which the project will operate in. Using our network of in-country partners, our services are often delivered in parallel with capacity building programmes and on-the-job training. This approach is designed to provide our clients with an increasingly capable, in-country support base during implementation of the project.
ESAS has experience of working in the oil and gas sector, renewables (wind farm and solar PV projects), and major infrastructure (motorways and ports).
