Stuart Hume

Stuart Hume has worked on international projects for 25 years. His international experience, which spans 47 countries, has provided him with a range of skills associated with social impact assessment, land acquisition and resettlement planning, social due diligence, stakeholder engagement, and the design and implementation of socio-economic surveys.

Stuart has worked as a social specialist for a variety of international financing institutions including Standard Chartered, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, AFD (French Development Agency), International Finance Corporation, and the Asian Development Bank.  Most of his work involves renewable energy projects, specifically onshore wind farms and solar photovoltaic developments.

Stuart is currently working as a resettlement specialist for separate solar power projects in Zambia and Tanzania, leading a social assessment in Dushanbe (Tajikistan), and is supporting an extensive road rehabilitation project in Mongolia.
