Tunisia – OMV – Completion of a Social Impact Assessment for an offshore seismic survey.

Key SIA issues included the presence of traditional coastal fish-trap gear (chafirs) used by local communities.  Work included the preparation of the socio-economic baseline and identification of vulnerable groups, evaluation of potential social impacts and conceptual design of management plans.
